Anyone in nor-cal area got one of these special spring compressors?

    As the title says im looking for a spring compressor to adjust my OME BP-51 coilovers. A regular one wont work as the shock body is too wide for a standard coil compressor to fit. My BP 51s came with the preload set too low and honestly for $400 (which is what shops are quoting) seems like too much just to adjust preload. I would be willing to pay to rent the equipment

    LS1 swap with nitros.
    Pretty sure those are banned in CA… something about high compression assault springs and prop 65.

    400 bucks to compress a spring and turn basically a nut? Lol. I’m in the wrong business. That’s robbery.

    They’ll align it too, the work part if it comes from the fact that the shock must be removed and the collar unloaded in order to adjust it, if you try to adjust on vehicle it will not move

    Considering average going rate for just the alignment is $100, four hundred isn’t unreasonable for the whole job.
