This week I got new wheels and tires for my 2021 Sport. 17" x 9" Black Rhino Rapids 12mm offset and 265/65/17 Falken WildPeak AT3W's.

I got factory sizes because I was planning on taking the whole modification thing slowly and figured that if I ever lifted my truck maybe I'd do it when I needed new tires. Of course now I'm thinking I may want to lift the truck sooner but will it look ridiculous with this wheel and tire setup to have a 3.5" lift on it? I know I can obviously fit bigger tires but I'm not really interested in just getting new ones for the sake of it. Thanks!New Wheels.jpg

I mean it’s all opinion, but I think it would be pretty generally agreed upon that that combination would look ridiculous lol

I have 265/75/16’s on my truck, with Bilstein 5100’s set to the 4th perch. So that’s about 1.55” of lift. Even with only ~1.55” of lift, the 265’s look too small in my opinion.

Yeah I figured as much. It looks pretty decent stock so maybe I'll just wait it out. Not like I have any more money to spend on the truck after buying those wheels and tires.

Sounds like a reasonable plan to me! You could always do something more budget friendly unless you need that much lift for wheeling. Rough Country is not known for their quality anyway.

Yeah I think for now maybe just leave it as it is. The sport suspension is pretty firm, which is fine since it's my daily driver and I'm not doing any serious off roading. Best to just roll with this for a bit. I've got some other, more budget friendly mods in mind.

Smart! Those AT3W’s sound like a great tire, I’m considering them for my next set.

Or just wait on the lift until you need tires... and save up $15-20k to put it on portals. That is the sensible choice since you need to wear out your Falken's. I want to see this set up in person in action so bad.
