    How about story time with Mr. Lynyrd3 :cool:
    New gas( propane) kitchen range delivered from Lowe’s Wednesday. They come set for natural gas so my propane company has to hook it up and swap out the orifices for propane . ( I said orifice :D) My wife and her father picked it out . Gas company gets here today and after an hour shows me the igniter in the oven is broken and screws in the sheet metal floor of the oven are at a 45* angle into nothing . Guy says I can’t hook this up you need a replacement. Call Lowe’s and can not get through for an hour . Put me on hold 3 times and I get disconnected every time . :annoyed:So I drive 25-30 minutes to Lowe’s and explain the situation. They will pick this one up Monday but not bring the replacement until Wednesday and the gas company will be here Thursday . So no cooking in the kitchen for 8 days :mad:
    And the gas company will be charging me for 2 visits to my house and now 3 days next week I have to hang around here fort pick up then delivery then hook up . Lowes took $134 off the range but now I will try and call the manufacturer customer service to try and get them to pay for the service calls . What a day . Started off at 630 this morning with KODA barking at my wife’s friend coming here to take a shower because her power is out from the storm last night . I also took my generator to my daughters house to run her fridge because her power is out . Daughter and son in law will be spending the night here . They probably won’t have power for 2-3 days . 9000 people in the county were without power this morning. Right now it’s thundering like I have never heard before . Sounds like controlled explosions and a lot of loooooong rumbling .

    When we remodeled our kitchen 3 years ago, 3 out of 4 new appliances came in damaged. It took almost 2 years to get new doors for the fridge. New appliances nowadays are fucking junk, they weigh about half of the old appliances due to cheaper and lighter materials. I have a deep freezer in the basement that’s 40 years old and still works fine, those days of quality and craftsmanship are gone.
