Mine also had several discounted sets. We picked up the new Battle of Hogwarts set for $65.

My girlfriend wants the current line of minifig scale Hogwarts sets, since they're modular and can combine into a large castle. Only two left to go, and we've managed to get every one decently below MSRP thus far.

The Cloud City StarWars set NIB runs for about $5,500, the Boba Fett alone is worth $3000 :notsure: But I agree, just open the damn thing and display it

LEGO Brick Fan Fest was in Tampa FL a few weeks ago. As usual, some pretty impressive builds.
One futuristic city was very impressive. So many details; not just physical build details but socio-economic, demographic depiction etc. that was just mind blowing.

My father in law gave my mother in law the first bouquet... she got flustered with the shades of green in some places and the tiny pieces.... just decided building Legos wasn't as fun as she thought without the niece building with her.... brought it to us and I found it was missing a few pieces.... finished it for the most part and it really helped me equalize the balance.... one on each side works better anyway...

    PXL_20230912_152111841.jpg

Also picked up a few sets for my niece for her birthday... we built the pug for ourselves because I'm unable to pass up that set...

I heard rumor that the galaxy explorer was going to be retired by the end of the year but I wonder if they’re keeping it since it’s been a good seller?
