Has anyone done a bucket seat to partial bench seat (add jump seat) in the 2nd gen extended cab? Im wanting to keep my bucket seats and put a bench/jump seat where the center console storage is. Has anyone done it yet, if so how did you do it?

Are you planning on letting your Raggedy Anne doll ride up front? That space is super small!

To answer your question, I've never seen it done. But with enough welding and fab work, anything is possible.

For a fun experiment, remove your center console, take some blocks of scrap foam and mock up the lower part of the jump seat. Ride around for a few days with that. You'll find out very quickly that for whatever reason you want one, it's going to suck.

There's just no way to get around the monster trans tunnel.
