Okay, so my teenage daughter rear ended someone in my 95 Tacoma. It didn’t appear to do that much damage, but I decided to take the opportunity to upgrade to an ARB.

While installing the passenger bracket I noticed that the tow hook must have gotten hit in the accident and slightly tweaked the frame, just enough that the bolts are at a slight angle and will not align with the bracket.

Any thoughts on straightening it back out to finish the install? I tried installing the hook and yanking it with another vehicle and also heating it and bashing it with a sledge. Nothing.

you can see in the pic that there is now a slight bulge at the front bolt and a slight crease up at the back bolt.

Nevermind. Got it. That sucked. Slight ovaled hole, come-a-long, and a shim… and we are there.
