Again, unless you're putting a huge demand on it, the stock brake system is more than adequate even with upgraded whees, tires, etc. IMHO. I've always found the Akebonos superior to Toyota's OE and the OE are pretty good. Your call of course.

I've tried various compounds over the years, some better than others, some more environmentally friendly than others, but in the long run ceramic pads have always come out on top overall.

Here a couple of photos of my most recent brake job with PowerStop. Probably overkill for my Chevy too, but happened to come across a great package deal, so, well, you know... deal! For our Toyotas and Lexus I've stuck with Akebonos though and they've stuck with me.

Thanks. I appreciate that. I actually have another one of the center pieces that uses SSC2s. Someday I will wire it up and try to sell it or something.

Tell your wife not to open the door with her left hand, or better yet, just open the door for her.

I tell her to wash her hands all the time:rofl:

Its all over all the film protection on the truck, really it has nothing to do with hands. Its even on the film protection behind rear wheel.

Beautiful truck. What suspension mods have you done? What lift? Best looking stance I’ve seen by far.

I used a piece of PVC pipe to make a guide to engage the spare elevator. It is held in place with a couple zip ties through drilled holes in the pipe. It is very easy to use now, even in the dark. I also installed a led light as an additional back-up light. I used a “T” plug and installed it in line with the factory trailer light harness, so it comes on with the original back-up lights - it easily makes twice the light the taillight led’s make.

Bought my 2017 TRD OR Access Cab Halloween 2016. Never did anything to it but the TRD pro grill and raptor lights.

Today did the Pop & Lock, DS18 tweeters, and the FX3 Gator tonneau cover. Pretty happy with it so far. Have the VLED footwell light kit coming next week with new vanity, dome, and map lights.

Good idea on the spare tire....

You should look at this thread for reverse light output. It made a big difference for cheap.
