In this image, you say that "Fog ON indicator retained". In my mind, it is the state of the high beam switch that tells the ECU to trigger the fog indicator ON or OFF. When high beam are ON, fogs are ON, but no fog indicator in the dash. Am I wrong?

I did this mod this week-end except that everything is soldered, including two 1N4001 directly on the switch, and I tapped one side of the coil (the one that is normally connected to 15A Fog fuse) to the green wire pin #10 on EB1 connector for parking light ON signal.

Great job by the way! Everything is clear and very well explained.

The Fog circuit is "available" after parking/tail circuit is select, as in the parking/tail circuit needs to be selected to have the fog circuit active with its switch. When HIGH beams are selected it causes the fog circuit to loose ground turning OFF the fogs even though the fog switch is set to ON.

    Update:

Fog Lamps Relay coil ground wire in-cab at connector 1F.
Tied in parallel to DRL circuit for fogs ON after IGN and parking brake released.
Then when Low beams are selected the DRL circuit is OFF, the Fogs are in parallel with Low beams.
Since Low Beams do not turn off when High beams are selected, Fogs remain ON.
Added On/OFF switch is mainly for State Inspection, it disables the "feature".

Engine bay side option: (can be tied to DRL Relay also)
