    Lift, method rims, big tires.
I have a 2004 Toyota Tacoma prerunner 3.4l rwd. And I want to get bilstien 6112 but I want 2.5in of lift. Why is it that the chart says I can’t lift to what I want. It should be the 4x4 ones that can’t go that far.

It's your truck, you can lift it however high you want. Bilstein, as experienced as they are, don't always make sense. I've seen shocks for other applications that are listed as only fitting a specific lift height, with only 1/2" range in height. Makes zero sense.

    4 run, 2 don't
Bilstein shocks allow for lifts utilizing stock coils.

It makes no sense at all for a 3rd party to perform research and development on anything other than stock coils which is what their shocks are tested with.

Do a search as Bilsteins are very common shocks and you'll see the perch setting and coil combinations to get you where you want to be.
