I wasn’t getting the airflow I expected on my recently acquired Taco. Bought a new filter and went to swap it out. WOW! What a mess.IMG_0376.jpg

Shopvac. Leaves will more than likely drop down into the fan but do your best to scoop them out. I've seen worse. Customer complained of a damp musty smell in the vehicle. Found wet leaves and a dead mouse in the housing. Not a fun day. That customer was my ex. You might want to look at doing the cabin screen mod. Might keep your debris to a smaller more manageable peices.

Put some sort of hardware cloth over the intake (under the hood)
    Problem solved

I can't even blame mine on anyone else... didn't even have any smells, or lack of airflow. Just decided to look a while back, and... oh, cool, there's like a 3" mat of pine needles on it. $&%/#ing white pines!

Maybe one of these days I'll feel like pulling off the cowl so I can put some screening over the inlet...
