I love the ride of new tires.

my 2006 got new rubbers today. we are only using it to move mountain bikes, kayak, and my stinky dog.

we opted for the Michelin LTX 4-season radials. man, they glide like glass. they will never be rounder than when they are brand new, and my old beater feels like it is refreshed. smooth, and running so smooth. I'd argue the truck is smoother on the hwy, than my new tacoma. but I think the new 6-cyl, is inherently less smooth to begin with. all the ones I ride in are the same. I have adapted.

the michelins are boring, and the opposite of exciting, but this is my second set. my last set of Coopers, seem to cost me 1-2 mpg. I'll no more after tomorrow fishing trip. hehe. they are epic in the snowy winter of Tahoe. I was one of the only trucks that could get up a steep parking lot. I remember shuttling peoples luggage.
