I designed this mount to add 5 push button switches to the center console without requiring any holes to be drilled. The mount snaps into place over the existing OEM console.

This is a prototype I developed when I was working on my dual battery gauge panel.

Includes 5 APIELE 16mm Latching Push Button Switches which cost ~$11 each.

The mount snaps into the console. Lots more pictures of the development of this item on my Dual Battery thread.

This is a prototype that I plan to make available without the switches. So I figure $75 (including switches) + shipping would be a bargain .

    How much with the switches?
I see they are 10 bucks each... if you sent them out full, say $150.00 and be a plug and play?

I'm including the switches for $75. The switches just have just bare wires to terminate to, so they'd need to be terminated into a Deutsch connector to be true plug and play.

Cool idea. One can never have enough switches. You might consider a “non-switch” version as well if people want a different color or a momentary switch or something? Just a thought. Good idea though

Would be nice to have one without pre-drilled holes for switches

I'd be down for one without holes for an upcoming project.

I could do one with out holes. I made this prototype today. It is very difficult to get a perfect surface though. You'd have to be real careful cutting. And only the left part could be cut without also cutting the console.

On my dual battery setup, I wanted three volt meters and one switch with and LED indicator. So I used the extra space for a smartphone mount. Just to give you some idea of what options I've explored for this space.

As you can see there is a lot of potential for this space. I can make blanks of some depth and the volume of the side part is also flexible.

If you have ideas for a specific application it would be best to PM me details.

I also already make this nine switch mount.

I still have this mount (including switches) for sale. $75 is a bargain. The switches cost me $60.
