I have been having more and more difficulty starting my 2004 5 speed Tacoma by depressing the clutch on starting the vehicle. I found the button that cancels the clutch start, but I know this isn't really a fix. What do I need to do to fix and return to the clutch start. I was almost standing up in the Tacoma to depress the clutch to start the vehicle.

Have you checked that the clutch switch is being depressed when you step on the clutch? It may simply need adjusting.
