Spent the last couple of days sorting out the infamous taco lean. After much research, and walking around with a tape measure, I decided I would use the Toytec 1/2" leaf spring spacer on the passenger side leaf, after removing the middle leaf from my 4x4 springs and 3" DJM lowering blocks.

Then I shimmed the driver side rear of the bed, inside of the wheel arch and under the headlight with about 1/3" body shims.

I'm pretty pleased with how straight everything looks, after years of lean.

I did all the work myself, it's by no means perfect, but it's better. I guess I could really take the time to get it down, but it looks good.

I basically took measurements from different points, from left to right; front leaf spring perch to ground, bottom of tailgate to top of bumper. Put it on jacks, verified the bumper was level.

The left side of the bed at the tailgate was 5/16" lower, so I added 1/3" shim under the bed between the bed mounting points. One behind the the rear left wheel and one under the left tail light.

The right amount perch was 1/2" higher on the passenger side, so I added a 1/2" spring shim from Toytec to bring it down.

It's not really all that much work.
