Grille Emblem Wrap

Decided to not do the Pro Grille and wrapped my emblem. Nothing fancy but I like it. Has anyone else done something different than the Pro Grille?

 

I don't have a good photo but I 'painted' mine with VHT Nite-Shades. It didn't totally blackout the emblem like you have but instead toned down the brightness of the chrome in the emblem.

 

I wrapped mine with vinyl from an instagram account. Kevin @c_mento_taco_808. Matches my steering wheel logo too, ha.

 

I did a similar vinyl wrap that toned down the chrome on our RAV4 and it kept the cruise control from working properly.
Found that out on a long trip, wife kept complaining, I asked her if she has used cruise control since we covered the emblem on grill.....

Pulled over to the side of the road and "fixed" the cruise control.

 

I’ve heard that happening. Haven’t had issues with mine. I used a thinner vinyl from what I’ve read about those issues. Glad you were able to fix it.

 

Very nice! Thought about doing that wrap, wanted to see all black first. Once mine fades or tears I will copy you lol thanks for the link.
