How difficult is a 3 link on the rear?

I want to link my truck and I've never done this sort of thing before. I don't know what I don't know so getting in over my head is a possibility I'm worried about. Here are a few things I'm thinking of.

• There are link kits (they usually dont include dom)
• Brake lines need extensions
• Would like to use stock leaf purch to simply things
• Looking to mount coilovers in a bucket similar to archive garage.
• I would really like to not have a bed cage.

 

Have you checked out the Long Travel section to see what others have done? Difficulty level is relevant to your experience, so only you will know if you can do it or not.

 

Im doing Martec Engineerings 3 link kit in the rear. Easy as cutting everything off, and then most everything "tabs" into the place it needs to be. Kit comes with everything besides coilover and bumps of your choice.
