Not saying the Ford is a bad looking truck - it certainly isn't! I'm a Ford guy. I'm sad that current Ford management has allowed their quality to slip badly post 2018. If they were robust like in 2014 I'd probably have a 150 now. Don't want to risk my hard earned money on a $60k+ gamble.

Think it’s splitting hairs no matter the trim level. Not much into luxury trims, all that stuff is useless to me, in the dirt too much, I’ll ruin it. Even the “cheap seats” are too nice…wish they had interiors that you could hose out.

Yeah not crazy about the Tundra looks wise, side profile isn’t too terrible, can’t stand that grill. It is bigger than most 3/4-1 tonners. Saw one sitting bedside a Ram 3500, made the Ram’s look small. Why so much flexing Tundra? You’re just a half ton…

$60K for a half ton seems ridiculous, if I am spending that much it is going to be a 3/4-1 Ton. Give up some amenities, but will have more truck. Can spend less than $60K too. No turbos to fret over or spun crank bearings.

 

First time I saw a Gen3 I knew I was going to get one, first time I saw the Gen4 I knew that I wouldn’t. I have an access cab and now that the Gen4 has eliminated the rear doors it’s a no go for me.
