    Fabtech 4 inch lift, tinted windows, diff drop, 33 inch MTZ tires on Raceline Raptor wheels, ELITE OFF-ROAD bumpers and sliders
    from what i've read is that there is a sensor located under the dash in are tacoma's that will set them off when a sudden stop of around 25mph is detected. i dont see how any aftermarket bumper would effect the deployment of the air bag if its just a sensor under the dash

    well some lady backed into me while waiting at a drive threw. She forgot her receipt and decided to back up with out looking. Messed up her Honda Civics rear bumper a bit. I didn't have a scratch :cool:

    I am VERY GLAD to hear this information as it will support my case that will hopefully be settled this Tuesday. This help me in court if it comes down to it. She claims I was going over the posted speed limit (25), and if I was My airbags shouldve deployed... Thanks for this.

    Go the dealer and get the name of the switch and where you can find the info on line or in a tech manual. The courts prefer to have something in writing rather than he said she said. The evidence would way much heavier in your favor. Not sure what your age is but the court will look at that also. So get the specifics and be prepared to talk them. If all else fails offer your information into evidence if it is printed on a piece of paper showing where it came from.

    just thought I'd give yall an update. Good news, got most of my money back for the bumper, shit its been 9 months since this accident. Just re-bedlined it today and going to take it in to the shop for them to look at on friday. Hope all works out. *fingers crossed* lol
