I found a post from 2017 for fitting an access camper on a 4 door long bed tacoma and was wondering if the info still applies for my 2023 Tacoma. To my understanding only the regular cab shell differed from an access or dual cab shell. The trucks shown in the post were 2nd gen, is the cab profile still relative for the my 2023? I'm looking to fit an access cab camper shell from a 2018 on my dual cab long bed 2023. It's an ARE MX with racks etc, all the features I could want at about half the price, and even have a shop lined up to professionally install for $250.

I did talk to two dealers that stated that both vehicles call for the same fitment, but it was stated as "it should work." Good call, I will reach out to ARE directly :)
