Mismatching is fine as long as they are similar purpose. Do it all the time on dirtbike stuff

Nothing wrong with running different brands imo especially if you cant find the tire you want. Ran many a michelin pilot powers back in the day on the 919, loved those tires.

Huge fans of the Husky's so cudos on that! I just moved from Metzelers to the Power 5's and I love em. 300 mile day on Labor day and couldn't be happier. My buddy who's a former flat tracker and doesn't ever go easy got 15k out of a set on his GRiSO.

I'm normally in the "no mismatched tires" camp but right now with everything I'm hearing about how tough it is to get certain tires I would do what I need to do so I can keep riding. As stated try to find another brand version made for the same intended use and you'll be fine. I had to do that during the Void Rally in 2019 when I picked up a piece of wire in my rear tire and had to buy a tire. It worked out okay.

    Appreciate it fellas

Thanks and loving the Husky otherwise, very fun bike to ride. Your Griso is a beauty! Glad to hear you’re liking the Michelin's, think I'll go with the Power 5 and call it a day

Yeah one guy I spoke with thought Continental's recall could be impacting things. There’s no expected date on when they’ll be available so I’m not waiting. I plugged the tire and it’s holding air but I’ll be more confident with a new one on there.

I really should be more prepared...will add electrical tape

Currently, the only things I carry on my bike are the OEM toolset it came with, tire plug kit, air compressor canister, tire pressure gauge, and a pocketknife that stays on my person at all times. I should probably change that pocketknife for a multitool. Zip ties would be a good idea too huh

I got called out at a meet last week for having Dunlop Q5S front and Michelin Road 6 rear tire lol. Better than the reverse IMO, rather have the less capable tire in the back I would think

First for me too... also I think the Attack SM EVO is the softest/stickiest tire I've had, amazing grip but wore down pretty quickly

As the owner of the same bike, I do wish I had a Grom too. However, I think a little Coleman bt200 will fill that hole
