Hi everyone! Now that I am starting to wrap up the truck build and gear break-in (famous last words) I was wanting to take it up to the White Mountains for a few days to check out some trails and fishing spots. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for some good places to camp and fish up there since I have never been. I was having trouble finding reliable info on where specifically to go online. If anyone wants to share some locations it would be much appreciated :)

We have been getting some pretty good rain the last couple of days so be prepared for the mud. There is reservation lake about 5-10 miles behind big lake. And there is Luna lake up in alpine near the New Mexico border. If you go down to the east fork of the black river you can do some stream fishing

Diamond Rock Campground is on the east fork, it's not dispersed though. I haven't been there in 30 years but it used to be beautiful, plenty of places along the river to do some fly fishing.

^^^^ What this guy said. :D

I was over at the east fork a few ago. Nice little area. But I have better spots around there to disperse camp over staying at the campground.
