I dont think so… one is at 11 oclock at the pass. Side cam area and the other is about 18 inches away at the bottom crankshaft area

Well. Unless there is notmore to testing the pump than the 2 connecters at the pump(+\-) …. It looks like my pump is gone. First i tested at the top where the connector plug plugs in and then @ the pump, where u see the wires now. Stuck’em on the battery +\- and nothing… no noise,no humming, etc. …. nothing. Then i reversed the the wires and put them back on the battery jus to double check and nothing. Weird, but i guess it is the pump( i hope it was this easy). .i’ll grab a Denso from Amazon or rockauto in the morning. This way i’ll await u guys confirmation. Normally i would be at 100% sure, but this situation of replacing the belt and then a week later the pump goes is to weird of a coincidence… but i guess it could happen.

That's a good idea with the amount of defective out of the box parts these days.
I'm so tired of doing jobs twice or more because of shitty parts.

i tested my pump by sticking a hose on the suction bottom end and the other on the flow side and put both ends into a 16 oz bottle of gas then hooked it up to the battery. All was good! i then installed my pump and sock into the tank, installed the inline filter and hooked up all the fuel and vacuum lines gave it about 10-15 seconds of cranking and she started right up. i let it run for about 10-15 min. and checked for leaks. today i'll road test it before i put my rock guard back on. This is what i learned. removing the vacuum lines to drop the tank is a PITA. reinstalling the tank to hook back up everything is Bigger PITA, i replaced a black vacuum hose with this longer red vacumn hose(shown in my pic), i had to make it longer so i could get my hands in there to hook it up. and for the fuel filler neck i had to slyglide the end of the hose and the tanks metal end , raise the tank and guide the ends into each other , then use a long handed phillps screwdriver to tighten the clamp. also make sure you use teflon tape on the fuel filter connection lines and high pressure line under the hood, if you disconnect this one like i did so they dont leak.

After the unexpected replacement of the timing belt last month and now the unexpected pump replacement i can now start on my dreaded lower control arm bushing replacement... IDK but man i dread this one. i've had my replacement bushings and cam parts for like 2 months now. but i guess after this i'll have a new truck thats gonna be good for another 100k miles> Oh, after the LCA repair comes a new paint job....ah :(..... never ending, but at least it all came at once.
