Guys so I know this has been beat to death but I'm still reading conflicting stories on the fitment of the Gen3 TRD 16" wheel on a Gen1 TRD Tacoma.

The wheels I have are the Gen1 5 spoke star wheels which I've read are 16X7 and 25mm offset

The wheels I want to put on are the Gen3 TRD wheels that I've read are 16x7 and 25mm offset

Now I've seen both wheel styles have the same specs 16x7 and 25mm offset. But some folks are saying they need spacers to run the Gen3 wheels. I'm not understanding how the fitment can be different if the offset is the same?

All in all, I love these new style wheels for my Lunar Mist extended tacoma! Just waiting for a cheap set to come live on marketplace!

It's less Tacoma and more mod
They fit stock, but put a 1-1.5" spacer to have it look right and give you clearance for larger tires

They will fit just fine. If you are a 5 lug. It might be a different story.
