How durable is the finish on the black? My previous truck had matte black wheels and seemed like they would get scratched by looking at them.

A few mods here and there and counting....
I have a set of the matte black on my 4Runner and its quite durable. Although, these wheels are harder to find nowadays.

I’m also running a set in black, no issues so far (roughly 1.5 years old).

    I also need a 5th spare..

my set of 4 have all has paint chipping issues without any help of rocks from wheeling. its like the machine that runs the tire over the rim presses just enough to loosen the paint coat. would rate the over all design 10/10 but the paint job 1/10. of course lvl8 or discount didnt want to honor anything with them due to it being a month or 2 outside of the yr warranty. leaves a bad taste but since they are cheap rims i figure ill just get them powder coated over and call it a day.

Unfortunately yes, in most sizes the Level 8 Mk6 has been discontinued. We have not yet gotten final word from the manufacturer however there are no production date's scheduled for any of the sizes.

    PM on the way.

We are sorry to learn the paint/finish is not holding up as well that the mounting process caused an issue. PM on the way.

Not sure what size you're running but America's Tire did say they had one 16x8 -10 offset in gunmetal they could get me. If your going to powder coat anyways you could get it as a 5th

According to my spec sheets, the 16x8 ET0 weighs 24 lbs and the 16x8 ET-10 weighs 25 lbs.

FWIW, I bought the 17x8 -10 version of these Level 8s a year and half ago, and before tire stems were added, I got 24.2 lbs on my bathroom scale. I know, I know, a bathroom scale isn't always the best, as who knows how well they are calibrated. That said, I also bought some Apex ARC-8 wheels a few years ago. The manufacturer states they are 18.45 lbs each, and my same bathroom scale measured them at 18.8 lbs. sooooooo...At least it gives me some confidence

PS. I am happy with my purchase of these wheels so far.

I really really wish these would go back in stock.

I picked up 4 of these on FB marketplace two years ago and I REALLY want to find a 5th to use a fullsized spare on my tire carrier.
