Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
I forgot to add that I’m on Whiteline bushings so I don’t get roll resistance from the OEM bushings.

I have the same setup 5100 w/885X coils on zero setting. The droop was close to @Junkhead OME setup

Hell, I have to lift the rear end of my truck where the rails of the bed are close to 8 ft for the wheels to get off the ground and 4 feet in the front.
I have icon 2.5s in the front and bilstein 5100s rcds in the rear. Setting proper height for the proper lift is crucial. I am also 2wd with no rear locker and sit at about 4 inches of lift. Jacking the rear-end up is definitely a challenge and would never get it off the ground on a trail.;)

Yes so about 3” as expected. Stock downtravel is about 3 3/4”.

Man I wish I got extended travel shocks, haha!

    Someone helpfully recorded the recovery.

Well, the most dramatic part, anyways. The rest was just the tedium of getting towed out.

Yup, as you know the platform it’s a bit complicated if working with stock components and every fraction of an in counts. Ride quality is good and the ride height it’s leveled so I’m ok with the set up. Cheers my dude!

Yup, too stiff of suspension and way too far right on that wall. Have been through similar canyons/off chutes.https://youtu.be/sPPW6l1SMtg?si=vyp92L1CkGKaYu14

Again, good to know that you and the doggie walked un scratched. Car gained some character for sure. Gaining height by preloading shocks it’s a true killer.

Would he have had the same problem if it was the bilstein on 2 inch lift instead?

Yes and not gone so far right to get that far off camber. Probably would have been better off not trying to avoid the obstacle on the the left.

First thing you should've did was, not post any of these videos nor share what happened in order to file a claim. Sorry this happened to you but now all of this is online and depending on your coverage, welp, it may be tough.

The insurance industry has been hit hard these past few years and depending on your provider, they may decline to cover you for this snafu.

Side note, damage doesn't look too bad and you can always buy a gem airbag online that was never deployed. It's easy to install it yourself but use that money to have a professional do it.
