    Hello Everyone,

Coming at you from the great state of Texas. I've been a viewer of this site for quite some time. My brother and I have been Taco Fanatics for many years now. He is the proud owner of a 5 speed single cab 1997 Taco which has had many years of love and work done to it. I plan on sharing some of our pictures and timelines of what he has done to it over the course of his ownership. His Taco has been in the family since day one. Passed down from our grandfather to my brother for his 16th birthday. My brother is now 28, so he has owned his beauty for roughly 12 years. It currently sits as an auto crossing beast here in south Texas after many years of transition and upgrades, with that comes heavy highs and heavy lows, from being rebuilt twice after 2 major accidents "not his fault". Now she sits as a race queen and weekend joyride.

He loved his Taco so much he purchased a 5 speed Extended cab 1995.5 Taco for a work utility vehicle and used it as a rough rider so to speak for the past 6 years. From pulling pallets of sod to loads of top soil and running a massively successful landscape company. She is just about to turn over the 300k mile marker which is where I come in. When he bought that truck 6 or so years ago I told him "if he wasn't going to purchase it, I was" well long story short he bought it and that was that. Fast forward to Januaryish 2023, his family and business grew fast so as a result he bought himself a Tundra to accommodate the growth. I now had my chance to offer him a price for his work horse of a 1995.5 Taco. To my surprise he wasn't ready to part ways, after a bit of discussing over some cold brews he agreed to take my offer seeing as he knew she was going to a great home. I am now and happy to say the proud and 3rd owner to this gem of a Taco.

This is where I plan on sharing my progression with this build to a great community of Taco enthusiasts such as y'all's selves. Its been an epic adventure thus far and can't wait to share. Thank you all for the read and righteousness.

Would anyone be able to guide me to the right thread where I can post pictures and a bit of a story line of my build? That would be much appreciated.

    Much Peace everyone :)
