So originally I did 12 qts worth of drain and fills with Redline.

Now that Amsoil has 0w16 I can buy oil and tranny fluid for the wife's Rav 4 hybrid and my Taco.

Anyone use redline, amsoil, and whatever WS is leftover.

Thinking about doing next drain and fill with Amsoil instead or Redline.

    Thoughts?

Of all the places to be mixing three different fluids, your $20K automatic tranny is the last place I would start experimenting.

Parts and labour, that would be my guess if you were getting a new one put in (in Canadian pesos, so probably 1/2 that in USD)

Confused. What does Amsoil having 0-16 have to do with your trans fluid choice?

Related to trans fluid, do you race? Tow heavy? Get stuck and spin a lot? If so, a syn may be worthwhile. If not, a simple drain and fill with normal fluid on a reasonable schedule will be just fine.

    Sorry explained poorly.

Buying fluids in bulk for my truck and wife's SUV will be cheaper. Instead of buying oils from amsoil and the redline ATF separately. Just tossing the idea to throw some Amsoil ATF in the concoction I already have in my trans.

Aint scared! :benchpress:I was more just curious if anyone had a 3 flavor recipe sloshing around in their Trans.

On the plus side it will make for a fun post if things go sideways:help:

Yeah. In the zone I live a crack shack costs up to 2 million CDN, so you gotta make big numbers and pay big numbers to survive, as does the mechanic at Toyota, hence repairs being so expensive. I won’t discuss politics, but it’s politics.

You can play the “crack shack or mansion” game. The game is actually 10 years old, and it’s only gotten worse.
