I feel your pain. I found out after I bought my 2 year old Tacoma that one of my headlight clips isn’t fully attached. It takes me about 2 hours to place it just right and get it hooked :anonymous:

Good morning everyone :hattip: I hope you have a pleasant Sunday.

    Opinion time, please, gentlemen.

When the guy installed the fridge yesterday, he used the water line that came with it instead of the existing one.

So which is the better option - a new plastic line or a 10 year old braided line?

A new braided line. Those plastic ones are garbage.

I knew that was going to be the correct answer.

I got two shutoffs for the fridge. One behind the fridge and one in the basement. You can turn the one off in the basement a whole lot easier than trying to wiggle the fridge out!

I was seriously thinking of hooking it up but with leaks possible at multiple places,
    I just didn’t..

Note, he said NEW braided line, not 10y/o. The plastic would be better short turn, but it’s one of those, good/better/best things. Braided lines act as a shield and to help prevent swelling/burst. Should still be regularly inspected and replaced if necessary.

Is there any way for a mere mortal to see the prices of the accessories? It looks like you need to be a customer to see the accessory prices?

Our internet is blowing chunks and likely won't get any better, so I'm looking at starlink, but will probably need a wall mount of some sort and maybe a mesh node unless I can add my existing routers to the network. Did Elon not think itt would be nice to have an idea of the costs before placing an order?:annoyed: I guess billionaires don't ask these stupid questions.

I can muddle through tech stuff, but it's certainly not my passion.

I’m sure there is some truth in your fact statement.

I can totally believe they would be insanely expensive.

But I will just leave this little rebuttal…
