Help! Question about lower ball joint

    I finally got bigger tires 2020 Long Travel Tacoma 1997 MAGNUM
    Anyone know how to get this piece off? It's not coming off no matter what I do

    It’s a lot easier when it’s still attached to the truck.
    BIG hammer and a smack to control arm/ball joint mount.

    At this point, you need a ball joint/ Pittman arm tool.
    The 2 jaw style worked best for me on the Tacoma.

    Puller, lots of heat or reattach and hammer it off in the truck.

    I got it. I just smacked it lol. Thanks for the responses. On a different subject how to y'all get the tie rod disconnected? I gotta add the extension but after taking the cotter pin off and the nut it still doesn't want to go

    YotaWerx Stage 1, Bumper light bar, Hood wrap, Roadmaster Active Suspension, Durobumps.
    Same thing, hit what the tie rod goes through with a heavy hammer, so the knuckle and count the amount of turns to remove it. Make sure your alignment is scheduled for the day after you're done your job
