I drink tea. Caffeine has no affect on me whatsoever. I have never liked coffee despite numerous attempts! My brother even gets the good stuff living in Central america but no matter how many times I try, I just don't like it. I affectionately refer to it as burnt bean water.

 

Hmmm, I guess you would call my 'hood Methwood Mountains!

It wasn't relevant to the story of my attending college there, but in 2018, the town of Paradise was 80%+ burned to the ground by the Camp Fire in that area. My grandparents house, and her sister's house next door (which I rented for most of my years as a student) are gone. This is where my grandparents house was.

 

Yeah I heard about the paradise fire when it happened. Sounded horrible. Sorry to hear this. I hope your family members were OK.

 

So folks, I had another idea to offer for our lovely thread here. Sometimes I accidentally hit wrong page numbers and end up reading full pages from long long ago and finding great amusement from the whatever archives. Now I just do it for fun sometimes. But I thought it might be kinda fun to grab a quote out of context and see who can guess the author, without cheating of course. For example: without using search features, can anyone guess who said these things several years ago?

Phase one of my current project. Going to tear brick face off and replace with dry stack stone and putting in a new electric insert. Waiting on new materials which should arrive in about 2 weeks. Will post progress pics along the way, going to demo the brick on Wednesday.
