Grossmont College (CC) was built in the 1960s. Maybe 5-7 miles North East of SDSU... Between Lake Murray Blvd at the south of campus and Fanita Dr on the east of campus. On the canyon Rim over looking Santee to the north and Cowles Mtn to the west.

I'm going bacon shopping today. A meat market 33 miles away makes an Apple Pie Flavored Bacon. This coming weekend I have an unscheduled camping/offroad trip with the WI TW folks. In 2 weeks we have a scheduled weekend in Northern Wisconsin.

Good morning. Headed to install headlight assemblys and bulbs. Have to rotate the bumper down to accomplish this.

Good morning everybody! Waking up in kanab ut this morning doing some scouting for future trips and bouncing back home on a path that looks like a drunk laid it out. And Zion is a yes for a return visit you never know till you see a place but the north rim is going on the checked it off list glad we went but now we’re good. I haven’t made my mind up yet but I’m curious about northern New Mexico and lower Colorado or I might go tward Moab I’ll figure it out over breakfast.

 

Thank you I just wish they could do the actual place justice we have been to some beautiful places this trip.

 

another great cool morning starting off here. dogs are happy, wifes at work.....

but im not feeling so well. she made a really good Thai recipe last nite, first attempt. it tasted great!

about 2 hours later i broke out in hives & a rash. something in there didnt like me. didnt have trouble breathing or need an EPI pen, but didnt feel good or rest good & feel fairly listless this morning. oh & of course the guts are very unhappy.

still got the windows open, attic fan running & airing out the house & dogs are all over me as i type.

STILL living the dream!

Is Bryce Canyon on your itinerary? It's fairly close to Zion, and well worth the trip. It is my personal favorite of all Utah's NPs. Moab is of course incredible, but Bryce has the most colorful views.
