I hope that you get to see the Durango and Silverton steam train go through town. Durango is on the top of my list for places to visit next time. If you go north towards Silverton and Ouray, check out the Pioneer Museam near Ridgeway, really cool things to look at from a time long gone.

    Good Morning :hattip:

Looks like a trip to the cellphone store today. My Samsung Galaxy S9 is showing its age.

My trip to Moab last March was probably one of the best trip I've ever taken. I had the opportunity to be there now. Just not enough available vacation left.
Gas cost was around $800.00 .

Love Durango. Last time we went we went to the Bar D Chuckwagon had a great dinner and took in the show. I agree that the train ride is worth the price of the ticket. There is some great fishing spots as well. If you come over red mountain pass into Ouray just know it is curvy with an 8% grade. It’s beautiful though. Lots of old abandoned mines to explore. Ouray is our favorite little town. If you have time to explore, try Twin Falls at Yankee Boy Basin. It’s about 8-10 miles of gravel road out of Ouray. Some parts are narrow and steep but it’s beautiful. Our favorite place to go.

I can’t wait for the sun to come up so I can have a look around! I’m going to the dealership first this morning and after that we will see but the wife reminded me we told the pet sitter we would be home Friday. I might shoot up to Silverton and look then head into upper NM I have to keep in mind the plan was to scout the area for an extended trip later. YouTube doesn’t do some of these places justice you can’t replace seeing it with your own eyes. I told someone the other day from home that I was starting back but it looks like a drunk laid out the route.

Body shops are the most fraud ridden industry in the Country. Why would you NOT use OEM parts? That statement alone best describes the problem.

Yeah I left State Farm also. Rates were going up and I had to do something. Our Ranger was hit twice and finally totaled. Agent did absoultely nothing for us. We had to do the footwork ourselves.
I finally went with USAA but they are some nosey phuckers with the tracking device.

This area is going to require an extended stay in the future and a fishing license! There is so much to do and see here or let’s say my kind of things to see and do. Those are some great pictures Mark water, mountains and green! Some of the places we have been through make me really appreciate the green.

Since you are planning an extended stay…set some time aside to go up on the Grand Mesa. Over a 1000 lakes and some of the prettiest country I’ve ever seen. Enjoy

So far, USAA hasn't tried to get me to use one of their "trackers". Fcuk that. No one else needs to worry about my driving. Now if they gave me a written guarantee that my rates would drop by 50% or more if I used one, I would consider it. But I'm pretty sure they might say 5% discount at most. Not worth it to me.
