Any ideas on seat covers for a 99 single cab.50/50.Durable vinyl or something that won’t absorb stains and snug fit?

I use Wet Okole seat covers and I'm happy with them, so I highly recommend checking them out.
This brand offers a wide choice of covers in different colors.
Here is a good example of Tacoma 99 covers that might be an option for you.

I ended up going with these from coverking… I was about to pull the trigger on some okoles but really wanted the saddle blanket style as a reminder of the 80s trucks I used to own. These fit great and still look brand new after 6 months of camping. Way easier on the wallet too…
Only thing I would mention is that the side bolsters on the seat keep the cover suspended over the center of the seat back, giving it a slight “trampoline” feel. Bothered me when I installed them but don’t even notice anymore.

@toku58- were the covers $349 for the front and rear neoprene seats? Costco website is a little confusing and asking about 1 row, 2 rows, 3 rows. I am assuming that row2 is the back seat of a double cab?

Yes! That sounds about right. I believe that WetOkole would have run me over $600

I was definitely impressed with the price to quality ratio of mine. It's just a darn seat cover! The wetokoles seem nice but couldn't justify seat covers that cost almost as much as new seats... at that point I'll just wear out the OEM seats and save for some nice aftermarket ones that are actually comfortable on long drives!

There's a lot to be said about Original seats in great condition. (Just something to think about) Mine were in great condition and I want to maintain them in the same condition as long as possible.

I hear ya, the pristine condition of my seats is what pushed me to get seat covers in the first place. It's nice to know they'll continue to be relatively preserved. But it's hard to spend a fortune to protect seats that aren't very comfortable to begin with! I could see spending 600+ on covers if I had a brand new truck, but I think the "cheap" coverkings will do just fine. No sweet TRD embroidery though... :notsure:

My 2003 bench seat underneath support mesh of horizontal thin metal stringers all snapped in half. Sellers want $400 for their shabby dirty bench seat. If I can get one reasonably priced with the under support rods not about to bust too, then I could buy a cover too.

Hey Juan, welcome to TW! I got mine online from Coverking. They surprisingly have a handful of different saddle blanket covers. My only gripe is the multicolor weave I received was a little heavy on the pinks and purples... its like cowboy tiedye, you get what you get lol
