Here are some photographs from the 5 day adventure with my friend Mark. Enjoy. @Markus2018

Day 1 afternoon we ran from the Columbia river near Hood River up to Highway 12 and Packwood. I have no pictures from this section. Ended up setting up camp at the east end of Rimrock Lake, along the Tieton river.

The next morning we started up Bethel Ridge. The views were amazing. That is the very top portion of Mt Adams in the distance. We would see it quite a bit this day.

In the past it would have been possible to see all 3 of southern washington's volcanos from here. But not since Mt. St. Helens blew its top 40 some years ago.

This is the top of Mt. Rainier seen from this same spot.

Mt Adams again. It would require a very wide-angle lense to get them both in the same photo.

One of the better bathroom views in washington state.

The Jungle. Not so much anymore since fire went through here a few years ago.

The positive side in this case is the views. Quite the drop offs on some of those hairpin zigzags.

Back in June I did section 3 of the WABDR. Some really fantastic scenery. I took a pic at the same section of trail that I think you did, maybe a couple of hundred feet north. Taken with the wide angle of a cellphone lens really flattens out the angle of the trail.

I think that tall skinny tree just on the right edge of the road appears in your pic.
