It's a great time to trade in at a dealer. I traded my 21 Taco for a new T4R and got exactly what I wanted for the Taco. The dealer literally never bothered looking over the truck when I handed over the keys, they just cared that it was a recent model with pretty low mileage.

Yes, it is true. rates could rise after that date, which could make buying a new car more expensive.

I unfortunately had to sell my Tacoma a while back when my job was going away. Think I got 2k more than I paid for it. Now in the market and needing a truck again

Dude, they always have some good deals and pricing. If we weren't expecting a baby in like the next two days I'd go up there and drive it back down this weekend. Going to keep my eye on them as the 4G pricing comes out

Haha, timing is everything! Congrats on the kid.

I'm going to head there myself once the 4G drops and see what's popping.

Thanks man! Hate the anticipation though lol

When you go, wear a giant purple top hat with a some loud obnoxious star glasses. That way I can spot you should we be there at the same time lol

Easy enough. That's like half of my Elton John Halloween costume. I'll leave the pants and Coke at home I guess.

I couldn’t help but notice that the OR’s shown at NAIAS & Miami might be tipping Toyota’s pricing strategy. Power seats, sliding rear window, and even mirror turn signal indicator lights don’t appear to be standard. Just like Pringles, a little shrinkflation to keep prices on relative check.

Saw that as well no power seats for the base or…? They will find ways to make their money.

That leaked order guide for the TRD Sport also showed the phone charger as extra cost, and thicker side glass as part of the premium package.

Not sure how much deleting mirror turn signal lights saves them but at this rate hopefully they don’t plan on introducing IsoDynamic roll up windows on SR5’s

Am I in the minority of people that don’t care about power seats? I set my seat where I want it and then don’t touch it for the life of the vehicle.

Fine without. But power seats typically have 8-10 way adjustments. Tacomas aren’t know for the most comfortable seating so I can imagine the feature helps.

Power memory seats in my wife’s car are amazing. Whoever drives it, the seating position is perfect. Definitely a feature I’m glad we have

    Ranger Raptor, sorry TW
Colorado is quite a bit more (keeping in mind it can come more equipped as well). Here's a 2022 for MSRP of $44,690, a 2023 is $48,295 (which is about an 8% increase in price). Rangers are similar in increase (but also getting more equipment). Odd that Toyota is removing standard features though in pictures we've seen so far. Perhaps in an effort to keep MSRP close to the same, but then add in the power driver seat, power rear window as part of a expensive premium package to make up for it.

The pictures of vehicles we are seeing are preproduction. We don't fully know the whole story yet. Hell they may even go custom build route like other manufacturers.
