I’ve had my ‘09 since brand new. Have only ever noticed surface rust on the frame and have cleaned it up as I go. Today I noticed the hole shown in the pictures. It’s front frame section on the passenger side. Since it’s an ‘09 and I’m in the US I’m assuming my frame replacement is way passed the window. Is this passed repair? I’ve seen products like those from Auto Rust, should I look into that? Thanks.

Location? I took mine to fabricator who cleaned entire frame and use rust inhibitor paint then undercoated with woolwax. Mine kinda was in the same spot. look at A/C condensator drain on passenger side fire wall. It drips down on frame and helps cause this issue.

Pretty sure that’s what’s causing it. The rest of the frame doesn’t have this kind of damage, just surface rust. It’s localized to this one spot.
