Problem: Pax front window will roll down using Pax control but not Drivers side Control.
Solutions: Checked in-cab fuses. Al ok.

Could it be a loose wire? Other fuse?

    Thoughts?

Have you done anything with your battery recently?
Try a reset. I forget the exact procedure but it’s easy to find if you google Tacomaworld window reset.
Something like roll window all the way down and continue holding the switch down for X seconds then roll all the way up and continue holding switch up for X seconds.

Cryptolime - That was my first 'Oh Sh**' thought as well but no. Not engaged.

Will try reset fix. I did read the OM but didn't apply it as it didn't seem 'Jammed' according the OM.

did your battery die? This has happened to me twice. Once it was just the passenger side, once it was both passenger and driver. The truck forgets what the buttons are supposed to do if the battery is dead enough so you have to re-program it. Takes like 2min.

This is the video I saved that got me through the steps. I remember it was ever so slightly different than his exact steps because it's not a tacoma, but it still only took me 2min to sort out.

    Good luck

I removed those annoying stickers on the sun visor.
Does it make a noise, like it's trying to roll up/down? If so, it could be a burnt out motor.

Hmm, sounds like a loose or corroded wire termination somewhere, or a burned out relay. I wouldn't have a clue where to start looking, though.

Battery Died and Alternator Replaced: According to video - must use Drivers side controls. Will that work even if the drivers side control for Pax window doesn't work at all?

Fair point. Worth trying imo just because there was battery work and that is known to affect the window switches.
If it worked before the batt/alt replacement, I’d try both switches and any other “secret code” work arounds I could find before checking wiring personally, just because they are so simple

Ok. Did the reset on the drivers side for the drivers window. Great. Drivers window now autorolls.

Did same reset on Pax side control and window. It took 2x but it finally worked and now all windows work with all switches.

    Well done and thanks everyone!
