I saw that, looks like the only changes in the update (from 3.09-2) pertain to trans control and fixes a PD16 false set error code.

Yeah I've heard you can go back as much as you want, even back as far as ESP. Why?

Hmm, can you download the previous definition and do it manually somehow?

Which version was your tune previously on? Big jumps can be annoying

I just found this thread and have been reading all this good info.I'm planning at some point to do a fuel tech /haltech emc with a plug in wire harness. 2001 s/c caged ,lowered with one off suspension build and set up for road racing/ track days.I have an engine on it's way with full internals, lots of head work and will be capable of 8k redline. One of my concerns is once a year is having to plug the factory ecu in for a nys inspection . Has anyone here have to do this?

Will be an issue if you go to bigger injectors and have the high boost pulley on.
Does nyc inspection involve plugging into the OBD2 port?

Good day for starts today haha - starts first crank like it's supposed to
    90*F, 38% humidity

Next issue is I have almost no power trying to accelerate from a stop before the coolant is fully warmed up. Though it might be a tranny fluid level thing

Whew it's still hot there. We back to nice and temperate. High 60s. Does it feel like it's slipping? Low trans fluid slips are pretty noticable

It doesn't feel like slipping, just lacking throughput. But I can't find any suspicious settings in the HT that would be causing it on the engine side

When you log a takeoff is there some table during warmup causing low timing?

So it looks like I'm leaning out hard (lambda 1.24 was the highest I saw) under these conditions:
    Coolant temp: approx <150*F
    RPM: 1250-2000
Pressure: around -6inHg to slightly positive

And the reason seems to be that I can only reach those pressures at that low RPM when it's cold for some reason. Once it's warmed up, the same low throttle has me around -13inHg. In other words, I need to let it reach operating temp and go find a steep hill on a residential road so it can learn those regions and just richen those cells in the meantime.
But I'm not sure what's up with the significant pressure difference, under the same throttle, cold vs. hot. My only thought is the low temp ignition correction table, but there's no correction in these ranges.

Just adjust your table by hand you'll probably get it pretty close.
