:pccoffee:  PA and surrounding areas peeps. My back still aches from hauling the 60-pound battery in and out of our little convertible yesterday. Darned BMW people bury that thing DEEP behind the rear wheel, and then cover it with a maze of wires and doodads. Also the battery is the size of a minivan.
All the trucks in that area now too. I-78 was pretty full with trucks before but now it's crammed. The last few miles in/out of PA to/from NJ can really get clogged up. I wouldn't be surprised to see an extra lane get added to that stretch.

I believe they are in the process of widening 78 out to the west at least, been working on it forever but looks like they are trying to make it 3 lanes both ways.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Well blame the City of Allentown The original plan for I 78 was planned to leave out around the 40mm swing far to the South and merge with US Route 22 east of Phillipsburg Nj

Allentown did not want to lose the through traffic so cried till the route was changed

Yeah I have a stubby on a hood lip mount, not the best placement but it works with my old Motorola handhelds at 100 feet away. Lol haven't had a chance to try further.

Finally home. TGIF for sure even if it rains this weekend. De-Stressing with a bourbon and ice. Wife has a huge pot of her Chili waiting and her home made corn bread.
She now has me thinking of food for the weekend. Thinking of making some stuffed Jalapeño egg rolls.
    Yinz have a great weekend.

Gonna be a long Sat. Dropping a family member off at the Phila airport at 430am. Then a 30 min ride back home for a shower. Then my wife and I are off to Pitt to visit our daughter, 4.5 hr trip out the turnpike. At least we're heading away from the bad weather.

Same mount. Want to put a roof mount, but loathe to drill through the roof.

Consider yourself lucky :) my techs are expected to install 125-150 batteries per day each at 63 lbs each. I don't envy them! My stationary guys do 160-200 per 3 man crew per day and those suckers are 188 lbs a pop. At least they are able to use lifts for those but it's still grueling to get them onto the lift and the old ones onto the pallets.

I try to get out on a job with them every few months to keep myself in the know and also show them I can still keep up :D the next day or two after are not fun but I'd never let them know that
