Do parts from a 2009 Toyota Tacoma access cab fit a 2007 Toyota Tacoma four door SR5? I’m especially interested in whether the transmissions can be swapped? I have the opportunity to buy a 2009 tacoma access cab great interior body and mechanicals but the frame is rusted out and my 2007 needs some work so I want to know if the 2009 parts will fit my 2007 so I can finalize the sale and have a parts truck

If they have the same engine and transmission they are mechanically the same, as far as the electronics and wiring on the truck there will be some differences between 07 and 09.

2nd gens (05-15) are all pretty much mechanically the same (the 4.0L cylinder heads & exhaust manifolds were changed in 2012 to add Secondary Air Injection).
Electrically there are 3 year breaks where alot of changes were made, 05-08, 09-11, & 12-15.
