I back a lot in the dark I just added 2 extra lights been working good for 10 years.

 

"Two extra lights". Light back-facing ditch lights, or some other form?

 

This isn’t a question, is it? (Spoken as a statement.) Have you tried a cooking class?

 

This kind of puts me in a position of considering replacement taillights. People have their favorite brands, for several reasons. Smoked covers or not, LED full-assembly or just replace the bulbs in the existing assembly with LED (Diode Dynamics, maybe?). What is your suggestion for fixing since I am basically "there"?

Yes indeed 2 utility lights wired with the reverse lights . Facing to the rear.

I have a LED light bar I just never got around to installing it.

 

Have the wife ride in bed give her a flashlight or fleshlight pending preference.

 

This is normal. They will burn brighter while they get worn in. Give it three to five weeks and they will level out. It's in the owners manual. If only people would read it. TGIF Brothers

 

Leave it as-is. Only one reverse light is required to be street legal. Some cheap Toyotas (Scions) have only one reverse light from the factory - the other lamp has a dummy reflector with no bulb.

I picked up the bulbs at O'Reilly, not that AZ would give me a ticket ... dozens drive at night with no lights at all and are not stopped.

But ... which if any of these other options is better/best?

I looked at those last night. Was not sure if the extra $150 for the V6 light was worth the $$. And watched the install video so I know the purpose of the extra resistor. Better price than Morimoto, as long as they are still quality.

 

Just get the basic kit. It's very bright.
