here's the thread on it: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/eimkeiths-03-taco.609803/

and here's the short description: 2003 extended cab 4wd Automatic V6 with a factory replacement frame (so no rust) it also has a factory rear elocker.

I’ve modified it by cutting about 13” out of the bed to shorten it to double cab length (so it can still fit accessories) in order to reduce departure angle off road.

I’ve also lifted the fuel tank for off road clearance, and reworked the exhaust for the same reason (exits through the bed side)

I’ve also replaced all the body mounts and the steering rack bushings with delrin aftermarket parts

The paint is rough and it has no bumpers.

The front lower control arms need bushings badly - has a shake at 55-60 mph which is eating the tires (they’re older BFGs, so no great loss there). It will need bushings and alignment before different wheels or tires go on.

It also needs rear leaf springs and shocks all around. I didn’t do any of that stuff because it all gets replaced when/if the truck is lifted in the future.

I’ve replaced the passenger LBJ, and have a new one for the driver’s side that goes with the truck.

Other than that it is a good driver, Heat & AC are great, interior is mostly very nice. Probably forgetting a bunch of neat details.

Softopper optional, factory flares included (but not installed)

yessir - I've kinda kept it low key to avoid it being exported (lots of interest from a very specific segment)

Thanks, guys - the truck has been sold. I'll leave this and the original thread up for Brandon's reference & archiving.
