Hi everyone, I recently replaced my 2021 Tacoma with a 2023 OR. After researching some bug/hood deflector options, I had decided on the AVS Bugflector II. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I saw it an ugly logo, not just adhered to the protector, but actually melted into it, so removal isn’t viable.

Since I’m not interested in advertising for a company with their chrome logo, I’m looking for other options. It seems like the Weathertech is the next most popular one… I haven’t been able to confirm exactly how they put their logo on their product. Can anyone with the original AVS bugflector, or the Weathertech, chime in? Many thanks!

Pretty sure if you take a little acetone on a clean rag and wipe lightly it'll wipe off cleanly. Doubt that it's "melted into".

I have the same AVS. The ugly sticker comes off easily. Only thing left is an embossed logo under it.

I'm with you by the way about about advertising, especially with an ugly logo.

thanks @canuck guy, that’s exactly how I used to remove the labels… this is a separate plastic piece though.. and my word choice was poor, what I meant was that the deflector itself appears to have a recessed area on one side to accommodate for the thick logo piece.

OK. My suggestion was based on how I removed the AVS paint off my window deflectors.
