Just got back from a 14 day, 1,000 mile RV trip. San Diego to Paso Robles (Wine tasting), Kings River by Kingsburg, Ca., Bass Lake/Yosemite, back to Paso Robles (Wife buys more wine), last stop RV park across from El Capitan State Beach. Man, gas on the road was expensive! Yosemite was amazing, hadn't been to Yosemite in 20 years. Bass Lake "Outdoorsy" RV Park was a little disappointing. Kings River RV Park was great, lots of water on the river. Owners took us out on their boat and let us have use of the jetskiis. My trusty 2016 Minnie Winnie, Ford E350 5.4 V-8
was flawless. Traveled with 3 other couples with relatively new Travel Trailers. All 3 had issues with fuses blown or A/C units not working. My spouse of 45 years had a good time which is all that matters. This was our first trip in 2+ years without our GSD "Santino"

This had better be a start to a picture heavy trip report.

I'm about to do a 3000 Mike two-weeker myself. Off to West Virginia/Virginia to hopefully catch some leef peepin', then a lengthy detour down Kitty Hawk/Hatteras. All with the old pop-up in tow.
