Chinese hiline bumper replica

I took a gamble and ordered a chinese knock off body armor hikinr front bumper. It was half the cost. I am planning to mount my existing led pod lights to it, and also do a viper cut. I will repaint this bumper too before install. The welds globby/shitty.. hopefully it turns out ok. The bumpers definitely heavy !

Will be taking off the avid guard and going to this. Looked at full front bumpers but cant afford it right now. This is my poor mans alternative.

 

I agree about the poor looking welds. Since you're going to repaint anyway, why not grind/reweld to clean those up?

 

I will likely leave them as is. Just repaint over w a bedliner maybe. I might drill new holes in the top before that to mount the led lights i have.. im open to ideas though if anyone has any ? But i like those leds, and want to leave them all as is. Have them all wired up and on a switch.

 

Maybe just a little Bondo then?
(But I really don't trust Chinese welds)
