Thank you in advance for your help..

I’m installing a BDS suspension kit on my 2018 OR

    kit : https://bds-suspension.com/product?ma=12&mo=45&ty=1&yr=2005-2022&kid=831FDSC

    Instructions: https://bds-suspension.com/instructions/028301.pdf

the AAL included in the package is long, and won’t fit between the outer most factory bracket of the leaf pack. On side almost touches, the other is overlapping the bracket. The kit is supposed to be compatible with my vehicle. I measured both sides of the leaf and confirmed the bolt hole is directly in the centre so flipping it around won’t solve my issue.

Here is a photo prior to assembly. The only one I currently have as my truck is in another garage. Any ideas? Do I just hack off those outer brackets?

Line 49 states . "Remove the two factory alignment clamps from the bottom leaf using an air chisel."

Line 50 " Install the new leaf spring alignment clamps using the 5/16” hardware from bolt pack 603 (Fig. 17)."

those are the inner clamps, aren’t they? I already had to grind them off. I’m talking the outside clamps.
