Worst thing happened to the truck this am.
Driving along a country road I travel daily, less than a mile from the house. I was following, not too close, not too far, an SUV and we were going less than or right at 45 mph speed limit. I saw the SUV swerve hard and something bounce up. It was a skunk and I ran over it.
I could taste that thing. My dog was with me and he started snorting.

Took the truck to the car was and ran it through the wash with underneath cleaning.. three times. Still stinks but tolerable.

    Can't like that...

Many years ago a friend flattened a skunk the first night he owned the car - it had L-50/15 tires... He flattened it.

As you said the stench was instantaneous, no matter how he washed it the smell always came back on rainy days.

Frame and suspension. It worked out for my last Tacoma, so I did it all over again on this one.

In my twice experience....takes about 3 weeks till you stop smelling it. Doesn't mean it doesn't still smell, but your nose stops noticing.
