DIY: Replace Rear Center Slider

I just finished replacing my rear slider about a minute ago. When the window arrived I thought it might not fit (it is 13-5/16" x 13-5/16" x 1/8") but it did. I used a Leatherman knife blade for making the cut, a plastic prying tool for prying things out and pushing them back in, and some dry lubricant. I have not sealed it yet. Thanks for the tutorial, as I would not have figured this out on my one!

This thread always makes me smile when it pops up. I had gone for a surf at an out of the way spot and locked myself out of my truck. I had to make it back down to my kids daycare before they closed. Had no way to call anyone. Smashed my slider out and got my keys. Hauled butt! I had enough time to stop at a gas station and vacuum the glass out. Made it in time. Almost seven years ago. Good memories!!

It does appear this could work. Except I ended up not even needing to peel back the window seal because I replaced it with clear poly-carbonate. I didn't want this breaking ever again, and since I have a topper that also has tinted glass I preferred to have it not tinted so I could see better. The bracket is held in place with trim adhesive foam, so that would need to be replaced.

I do like using the poly except I now see exactly how curved the proper glass is supposed to be. With the poly being straight you can see where the seal doesn't touch the straight poly in the middle. I bought some additional window seal to see if that would fix it. The poly is perfectly clear and looks great.

You're the real hero for posting these exact specifications. The only other place I found that has dimensions said 13.5"x 13". That probably would have worked too since I can see how you're is a bit wider but not so much that it comes outside the trim. But I was really concerned.
