Yea dude people are different. That's why they have these trims, who likes what. I guess that SR5 had addons. Like mine is also SR5 but its SX so it has bed cover, and black alloy wheels so it was bit more expensive than regular SR5. Each trim has so many different addon configs there is really no exact price.

This is how it came. Actually this was last one left, both tacoma and 1 4unner. Crazy how fast they are sold out lol. In my town I see them everywhere, on every third house, I kid you not.

Just for kicks and giggles, I went to the Toyota web site and configured a fully tarted SR5 (sans the tonneau cover), and then two TRD Sport models; consider the following:
    • SR5 Automatic: $42,960
    • TRD Sport 6MT: $41,330 (as like for like as possible with the SR5, cloth seating, no LED lighting...)
    • TRD Sport 6MT: $44,705 (leather seating and LED Headlights and Fog Lights)
So it seems the TRD Sport 6MT is still less expensive than an SR5.

Admittedly (slightly) modified, we chose a TRD Sport model for the MT with the long bed. Traded the awful hood scoop and added other options. Photo taken at a Voodoo church in Benin, West Africa

Nice! It would have been really hard for me to turn down an Offroad AC with manual if it was offered in the US. Though with a kid, the double cab has definitely proven it's worth.
