2012 Tacoma turn signal mirrors install

Hello guys,
I’m currently trying to add turn signals to my 2012 Tacoma side mirrors. I’ve already installed the new mirrors w turn signals but I can’t get them to work. The motor to adjust and turn the mirror works fine but no blink on the turn signal. The original side mirrors did not have turn signals. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks in advance

 

I think if you did not have turn signal mirrors from the factory the wires will not be there for add-ons but I will let other people give their opinion as I’m not 100%

 

Unless your truck came with turn signal mirrors you'll be missing the wire to make the signal work.

 

You guys are both right. I found another forum that tells you where you can find the wires in the cabin I have now found those now to just run the wires. Thanks guys

 

Hi, i’m wondering what mirrors you bought, looking for some quality mirrors either oem or aftermarket as long as they are quality, i like the look of the 3rd gen mirrors is there a way you can get 3rd gen mirrors on?
